Eric Lee, based in Singapore, is the Executive and Life Coach of Career Transitions. He has more than 25 years of experience in the corporate world, mainly holding HR leadership roles in major multinational corporations and respected public companies operating in Singapore and the region. He also has more than ten years of experience in HR consulting, outplacement services for several firms, including a major law firm and a large non-profit organization, and executive search before he made the switch to coaching. He has worked in Hong Kong and US, and has travelled extensively in the Asia Pacific region during the course of his work.
Exxon (previously Esso), Union Carbide, Cummins Engine Company,
Cold Storage Group (now the Dairy Farm Group), the OCBC Bank
Group, and Compaq Computer (before the integration with
Hewlett-Packard) are among the companies Eric has worked in.
Eric has a Bachelor of Arts (Hons) degree in Political Science from the University of Singapore and a PCC (Professional Certified Coach) accreditation from Columbia University, New York.
Eric is also a Certified Consultant for WholeBrain Creativity Assessments (NBI). This is grounded in modern neuroscience and psychometric research. It is a 4-quadrant model with 8 dimensions that are each intuitive and accessible while simultaneously complex and nuanced. Essentially, it is a measurement of the thinking preferences of the brain and has been used successfully in major commercial corporations and non-profit organisations. It forms a helpful instrument in the coaching process.
Apart from coaching, he is active in several professional and community organizations. Eric is the Chairman of Dyslexia Association of Singapore and he sits on the Board of DAS Academy and DAS International. He is also an active Rotary Club member — being a past president and assistant district governor, as well as a lay leader of a church, and member of its Parochial Church Council for several terms, and still serves as an active Alpha facilitator. He has previously served as a board member of the then National Productivity Board (now called Spring Singapore), an Employer Panel Member of the Industrial Arbitration Court, and a board member of one of the first Town Councils in Singapore.
In recognition of his many contributions to the DAS Eric was awarded a PBM (Pingat Bakti Masyarakat) during the 2023 National Day Awards Investiture.
He has been involved with several fund-raising projects, including producing three CDs, the first in 1994 for building a new, purpose-built Margaret Drive Special School; the second in 1999 for the Dyslexia Association of Singapore; and the third in 2011 for various church-related projects in Singapore and Hong Kong.
